29 farms across 7 regions, from Richmond down to Payson. We checked every one against the state agritourism registry, three county tourism boards and a county by county map sweep, and listed only the ones with a confirmed 2026 season. Dates and ratings were gathered in September 2026, so call ahead before a long drive.
We build porch displays. We are not a patch, we sell no loose pumpkins, and nobody on this list paid to be here or knows we wrote it. It exists because we did the research for our own reasons and there was no good version of it anywhere.

What is not on this list, and why
About twenty more operations turned up in the research and are held back. Some are registered with the state for fall activities with no evidence anybody opened a gate this year, and some sell pumpkins without running a patch you can walk. Sending a family up a canyon to a farm that is closed is worse than a shorter list. Summit and Rich counties returned nothing at all, in web search and on the map: Park City and Kamas are served by the operations an hour down the hill.
Every phone number here was checked against the farm's own website. That turned up four wrong or missing numbers, now corrected. 12of the numbers below still come from a business listing rather than the farm's own site, because those operators do not publish one. The Morgan Maze publishes a placeholder number on its own site, so ours came from a listing too.

That is the whole reason this company exists. We buy first pick from growers across the state, build the display on your steps by hand, and haul the whole thing away when the season ends. Installs run September 21 through October 14 along the Wasatch Front.

That is what we verified rather than a full count: about twenty more operations turned up in the research without enough evidence that they opened this year. Utah County has the densest cluster with ten, and Weber County has five within about twenty minutes of each other.
- What is the biggest pumpkin patch in Utah?
- By Google review count it is Kuwahara's Pumpkin Patch and Thriller Park in Draper, with more than 3,400 reviews, ahead of Cross E Ranch in Salt Lake City and Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.
- When do Utah pumpkin patches open?
- Most open in the third week of September and run through October 31. Gordo's Fun Farm in Spanish Fork opens earliest, around September 14, and Day Farms in Layton runs latest, into the first of November.
- Are there pumpkin patches in Park City or Kamas?
- No. Summit and Rich counties have none, which is a real finding rather than a gap in the research: both are high, cold and short season. The nearest options are the Salt Lake and Davis County farms about an hour down the canyon.
- Do you sell pumpkins or run a patch?
- Neither. Mountain Pumpkins designs and installs porch displays using specialty and heirloom pumpkins bought from growers, then removes the display at the end of the season. If you want a farm to visit, the list above is what you want.
