How does the Design Your Porch experience work?

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City, Sandy, Draper, South Jordan, etc.), Park City and Heber, Ogden and the surrounding area, Logan and Cache Valley, and Orem/Provo. Delivery is always free, no matter where you are in our service area.

Do you charge for delivery?

Never. Delivery and setup are included in every design, whether you're in Draper or Logan. It'd feel wrong to charge extra for showing up.

How long does the install take, and do you give a time?

Accepted Answer

Most porches take 30 minutes to an hour from arrival to finished display. We confirm your install day with you ahead of time, but not an exact hour: we design several porches a day and route between them, so traffic and the porch before yours move the clock. You do not need to be home. If the time of day matters to you, add Priority Install ($149) and we will talk through the window you want and plan the rest of the route around it.

When is the install window?

Our fall pumpkin season runs September 21 through October 14. We recommend booking at least one week ahead to secure your preferred date. Holiday garland season is late November through early December.

What kind of pumpkins do you use?

Accepted Answer

We use specialty and heirloom varieties, not the grocery store kind. Think Cinderella pumpkins, Jarrahdale blues, Fairytale pumpkins, Musquée de Provence, and 50+ pound signature statement pieces. Every pumpkin is hand-selected for color, shape, and visual impact.

Can I keep the pumpkins after the season?

Absolutely! The pumpkins are yours to keep. Many customers cook with them, compost them, or transition them into Thanksgiving centerpieces. Removal is included free with every order if you'd prefer we come pick them up, just say the word.

When do you take the display down?

Accepted Answer

Typically the week after Thanksgiving. Pumpkins hold beautifully through the fall, so most customers want them right through Thanksgiving rather than losing the display in early November. If you would rather have the space back sooner, tell us the date and we will come earlier. Removal and haul-away are included free either way.

What if it snows or there's bad weather?

If severe weather prevents safe delivery and setup, we'll reschedule at no additional charge, or issue a refund in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Utah weather is unpredictable, and we've got you covered.

What if deer or squirrels eat my pumpkins?

Accepted Answer

It happens, especially in Park City and the foothills, and we have you covered. Every design includes our Critter Care guarantee: if wildlife damages your display before Halloween, we will replace the damaged pumpkins (up to half your display, one visit, subject to availability). We also share kid- and pet-safe deterrents on our care page so you can keep deer away in the first place.

How long do the pumpkins last?

Most specialty pumpkins last 2 to 3 months in cool weather. We can't guarantee exact duration since temperature, sun exposure, and moisture all play a role, but we select hardy varieties bred to last through the season.

What's your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

For fall orders: cancel before September 1 and you get a full refund. Because we buy the season's pumpkins on September 1, cancellations on or after that date are eligible for up to a 50% refund of what you paid. Holiday orders follow their own dates: full refund if you cancel more than 72 hours before your install and on or before December 1; after either of those, up to a 50% refund. What's the difference between Signature and Grand?

Both levels include hand-selected specialty pumpkins, professional design, free delivery, and your choice of color palette (Muted & Modern and Green & White each add 10 percent). Grand takes it further with 50+ lb statement pumpkins, premium heirloom varieties, expanded density and layering, and hay and corn stalk accents. Designs start at $499.

Do you offer holiday garland and wreaths?

Yes, and holiday booking is open. Installs run November 23 through December 12. Every project starts with a $199 in-person design consultation at your home, credited in full toward your install, because we quote each porch individually: garland footage, lighting, and materials vary so much from home to home. We take 25 installs for the season.

How does the design consultation work?

The consultation is $199 and happens in person at your home. We walk your porch together, design the installation, and quote it on the spot. The full $199 is credited toward your install.

What if I decide not to book after the consultation?

Accepted Answer

Then your consultation becomes a premium lit wreath, delivered to your home. Either way, your porch gets something beautiful out of it.

When do holiday installs happen?

Holiday installs run November 23 through December 12, with Thanksgiving Day off. Each install takes 2 to 3 hours, and we handle delivery, styling, and securing so your porch is ready to enjoy the moment we leave. We set your exact day with you at the consultation.

How do I book a holiday install?

Book the $199 consultation on our holiday page. Pick the day you would like us to come out, and that fee holds your place in the season and comes straight off your install. Consultations are booked through November 16, and we take just 25 installs for the season.

Is the greenery real?

Yes. We use fresh evergreen garland and wreaths built with premium mixed greens. In Utah's cold season, fresh greenery holds up beautifully through the holidays.

Can I bundle fall and holiday?

Yes. Book a fall porch design and take 15% off your holiday installation. Mention it at your holiday consultation and we apply it to the quote.

Each vision sets the scale of your display and comes in two levels, Signature and Grand.
